Canadian Designer Nabeel Sheikh To Officially Launch Clothing Line NABEEL At Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM*)

TORONTO, February 2nd, 2016 – Canadian designer Nabeel Sheikh will showcase  his first menswear collection on February 24th at 5:00 pm, as the first event on the Toronto Men’s Fashion Week Fall/Winter ’16 calendar.

A latecomer to fashion design, Sheikh’s longstanding interest in the industry led him to follow his passion and in 2014, he started designing a line of on-trend, custom-made suits. The NABEEL label is designed to appeal to the fashion-forward, professional male who’s tastes lay in quality and exquisite tailoring.

The FW16 collection is drawn from the 40s and 50s era with a nod to the British fashion sense, emphasized by a heavy use of plaid patterns.

“I am very excited to be apart of TOM*. I have spent the last year travelling to various parts of the world, learning about suits, fabrics and tailorings and am very happy to be able to officially launch NABEEL on such an excellent platform” states Sheikh.

Sheikh’s search for high-end fabrics in eye-catching patterns has lead him around the globe. His travels have inspired a collection founded on ethical manufacturing practices and a desire to continuously find the next location as a source of future inspirations.

NABEEL FW16 will feature eye-catching plaids and relaxed but professional fits. The runway show will feature notable fashion figure, Glen Baxter as a model.
