Unwrapped Life – Sustainable Beauty Brand Launch
In May 2018, Charming Media was tasked with launching eco-sustainable Canadian brand Unwrapped Life into the media marketplace with a splash. Beyond simply introducing a new quality beauty and lifestyle product, Charming Media needed to find a way to make media feel fully connected to the brand’s values so that they could aptly speak to Unwrapped Life’s mission; reduce waste with minimal to zero packaged products while still indulging in a luxurious, high quality product.
Charming Media facilitated a media introduction that included a top-tiered, zero-waste press kit send out that consisted of a range of product samples, plants and biodegradable plantable packaging.
During the six month launch period, Unwrapped Life was featured in every single top-tiered Canadian outlet, both print, online and broadcast included print features in Globe and Mail, Fashion Magazine, Canadian Living, broadcast on The Social and CTV’s Your Morning, as well as various online outlets including but not limited to Flare, Huffington Post, The Kit, Best Health, CBC, Chatelaine and more.
Charming Media also facilitated influencer gifting, which resulted in multiple Instagram stories from Canada’s Jillian Harris, which lead to an uplift of 20K Instagram followers and product sell-out. Charming Media was also instrumental in facilitating retailer listings for Unwrapped Life at Well.ca and The Truth Beauty Company.
