Top Notes: Jasmine, violet, and galbanum create a burst of green floral

Heart Notes: A sweet lilac accord of rose, violet, jasmine, ylang ylang and vanilla

Base Notes: Soft, sweet, and powdery vanilla, iris root, hibiscus seed, and tonka bean

Founder/formulator and Priestess perfumer, Jessica Burman, has over 15 years of experience working exclusively with natural fragrances. She is certified with the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapy and received training at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France.

“Our debut perfume is inspired by spring, and naming it Persephone, after the Greek goddess of this beautiful season, was an overwhelmingly natural fit,” states Jessica Burman, Cocoon Apothecary Founder. “We are taking you back to a time in perfume history when the essences of freshly harvested blossoms were extracted by hand, before synthetics began creeping in and eventually took over in the 1900s.”
