Coming Down From TIFF
September 17, 2013
Now that TIFF is over, we can all take a deep breath and ease our poor feet out of those ridiculously high heels. September is a very busy month for anyone who loves the entertainment or fashion industry. We get a short time of rest between TIFF and Toronto Fashion Week.
There are a few things you can do in that short breathing time to get completely relaxed and stress free; totally available for all the stress the next event promises to bring!
1. The ‘Coco’ Slippers by Flurries
Your feet are going to breath an AUDIBLE sigh of relief when you take them out of those after-party heels and into these chocolate brown, sheepskin lined slippers.
2. The Exfoliating Body Scrub by Gratiae
After a week of standing in line, on the red carpet, at the bar and everywhere else (especially while carrying a big bag) your body is in need of a refreshing exfoliating scrub that accelerates blood flow and leave skin soft.
3. The ‘YDE Diamond Nubby’ Sweater by Jean Machine
If it’s been two weeks of dresses and uncomfortable (yet trendy!) outfits, it’ll feel so nice to let your body melt into an oversized, cozy sweater.
4. The Gold Tone Jeweled Box Clutch by Minling Pan
Give your shoulder a break from an overpacked bag (you needed all your essentials! We get it) and carry around a small clutch for a few days. Instead of carrying around extra shoes, a notebook and everything else, just pack your phone and a chapstick and go!
5. The ‘Diva Detox’ Mask by Maskeraide
Wearing makeup every day for long hours can really take a toll. Using natural Geranium Oil, Seaweed and Green Tea Leaf Extracts this mask helps to minimize pores, absorb impurities and protect from toxins and free-radicals without removing your skin’s essential natural oils.
If you’ve been at every movie, red carpet and party then you might need more than a few products to fully detox. That’s where a stay at Viamede comes in. Sit on the dock, visit the spa or watch the stars and just relaaaax.
