A Bite Me More BBQ bash for ‘Grilling Week’
May 29, 2013
Nothing tells your taste buds it’s finally summer like a good barbeque. Being outside, smelling that smoke, enjoying all the pleasures a casual but perfectly-executed barbeque can provide. It’s also a great way to round up the gang and get everyone together to eat, laugh and be merry.
The best thing about a good ol’ bbq? They don’t need to be too fancy or too excessive, you just need to get a few good things going for yours to be a success. Such as the following, courtesy of Bite Me More:
A grill-kill playlist:
With the right tunes, let’s face it, ANYTHING can be fun. These are some hits that keep in theme with the festivities.
A fun setting:
Feel free to arrange this table-setting outside on a deck or patio. Everything on the table was purchased at IKEA, Loblaws/Real Canadian Superstores & the dollar store. Affordable AND adorable.
An unexpected twist:
You could do burgers and hot dogs at your barbeque OR you could switch things up and make a grilled chicken club sandwich. Having all three isn’t a bad idea either!
A surprising thirst-quencher:
Nothing like washing down a grilled-something with an ice-cold, spicy and sour bevvy. Lip-puckeringly good!
Something special:
Send your guests on their way with something to remind them of your fun barbeque that will also help them host their own. A few of Bite Me More suggestions are hickory chips for that smoky flavour, a condiments centrepiece or a BBQ rub set. Mm-mmm-gifts.
